Rixt Hoekstra is an architectural historian and a Wissenschaftlich Mitarbeiterin at the Bauhaus university of Weimar, Germany, where she teaches theory and history of architecture. Hoekstra studied architectural history in Groningen, the Netherlands, and received her PhD in architectural history in 2006.
